But surprise is over so yay! Here's what Ben's been up to lately, aside from being grounded of course. :P

GIANT ASS KATY PERRY W00T.

Him and his bunch of friends being the awesome friends they are, got Khai Yii a Katy Berry (yes, I intentionally spelt it Berry) for his birthday!

They thought of it ages ago but it was only ready like a couple of weeks later so Ben went to pick it up.

The closest your groin will ever get to her hips, Ben. :P

There was also the giant ass cloud poster but I don't have that pic yet. Oh wells.

Then we realized that there was a problem fitting her into his *coughcough* CLK.

Thank goodness his friend Qian Wei was not an idiot like us a genius and suggested shoving her through the back.

So yeah.

We ended up with this.

I swear, it was weird but interesting. Now we can say that we have had Katy Berry on top of us anyway.

Well Ben can. I couldn't give a shit.

Have you ever...

done something that you've regretted and wanted to turn back time?

I have... sort of...

Firstly let me say that I'm the type of guy who lives with no regrets. (or at the very least attempts to do so)

But if someone were to come up to me right now and say-

Hey, Ben, if you were to regret one thing in your life, what would it be?

Without hesitation I would definitely say that I regretted...
Doing my last semester's model with curvy walls and lines.



Yes, I am currently sitting in my comp lab trying to use autocad to create an isonometric drawing of my previous assignment.

And hell, its really really hard.

But then again, this was the assignment that I had the most fun doing.

Adding to the fact that it was a challenge everytime to get each and every individual unique pieces to be just the right shape.

All in all, I really don't regret making this model, because it was one of my better works.

I guess I'm saying that if i were given the chance to go back in time and change it, I would just do it all over again.

So live with no regrets, cause the worse feeling is regretting what you've done cause there's no way of turning back time.

Embrace the moment, do what you love and one day, you might realize that life isn't rushing towards a destination...

It's the journey that counts.

On a really really different note... *attempts at whistling*

So, on merdeka night, the bro's suddenly wanted to take a random trip down to Desa Park City.

According to Khai Yii, that night they were gonna have fireworks around that area and we would be able to see them from the park.
We were damn skeptical cause merdeka night's fireworks are usually at certain locations only. Plus KhaiYii's defense of saying there were gonna be fireworks were on the basis of there were fireworks on new years =.=

After asking around, someone managed to get "fireworks at 2 am" from a foreign worker at the near by shop...

Main convo that night-
Qian: "Eh, I forgot my tripod..."
Ben: "Go take la, but what you want it for?"
Qian: "Well, tonight it has 2 functions lor... 1-To take pictures/videos of the fireworks... or 2-Whack Khaiyii when theres no fire works"
Ben: "Sounds like a plan"

Happy to say that... Khaiyii still owes us a whack with the tripod, but we had a fun time taking awesome pictures by the lakeside. The park was awesome by the way.

Back to the shopping part, (yes I actually did go shopping) my mom had these Parkson vouchers that she had to finish off before they expired so I brought along my image consultant to find a proper shirt, since most of my wardrobe looked like shit xD

We were there for a few hours trying on shirts and collar t's until finally, we found the most ORGASMICALLY AWESOME BLACK LONG SLEEVED SHIRT EVER!!!

(cue virtual shouting)

BUT WTF THE SHIRT WAS FREAKING HALF A SIZE BIGGER THAN I WAS AND THE ONE THAT I WAS TRYING WAS THE LAST ONE IN THE WHOLE STORE~~~

IT WAS BLACK AND IT WAS FREAKING COMFORTABLE CAUSE OF THE MATERIAL AND IT WAS FREAKING 50% OFF AT RM70

according to my image consultant, feeling the shirt was orgasmic... and she's right

Don't worry la image consultant, with your touch memory, we shall find another similar but more awesome shirt. and we shall always have a memory of that awesome shirt...

As you can see, I wasn't that into the shirt so I went to find another shirt that was actually my size and... hey I actually look good in formal wear :D

It's time again...

to revive my blog with a couple of  defibrillators.

So since Semester 2 has started, I've done one model so far.

I'm proud to say that all 3 lecturers who commented on our work liked it.
Not love, liked.
So maybe I'll get a strong B, an A- if possible xD

Basically we wee suppose to do an abstract art for our first assignment.

Me and my teammate thought- Hey, let's do something interactive instead of some boring old random painting with mixed meanings.

And so we came up with this 3D piece of art that gives 2 meanings when alternating between it being open, and it being closed.

And yes, our work can freaking move and is interactive :D


So basically our assignment was to convey what we felt to the site and the issues that can be addressed.

So, we decided to come up with a 2 part artwork which consist of when the artwork was closed and when it was opened.

When the artwork is opened, the spiral formation tells our journey on the trail which leads ultimately to the center (the highest point) that would be our site.

Our journey was a treacherous one with cliffs that did not have guard rails and the road was uneven with potholes and defects. 

The blue trails portrayed our curiosity that propelled us to seek our site despite our dangerous journey.

The fins are present to give the illusion of movement that is required to show the journeys direction.

But when the model is closed, it shows the issues that we have pinpointed, mainly the site's safety issue.

It was exposed to a 30 foot drop which explains the cluster of sharp objects that concentrate on a certain spot when the model is folded.

This gives a look of immense danger.

It wasn't all work and no play for me.

It never is :D

Went out with Crystal and JiaYing for a PICNIC in a park near Crys's place :)
The place was awesome, coupled with awesome company, made that day really awesome xD

Haven't been updating much recently just because the biggest word in my dictionary keeps popping up :)

So anyways, I was feeling very enthusiastic about updating all of a sudden :D
so i guess that's bad luck for the rest of you who actually suffer through my blog xD

Just got back into university and started with my semester two of my most-freaking-awesomest course in the world. But before any of that, I was on holiday xD

The holiday was in one word - fun :)

Did random stuff the whole of the hols.

Hanging out with my brothers from other mothers. Had an awesome time with you guys.
Cause Haans came back from oh-so-far Australia, we had to gather up the gang and actually go some place xD
And that some place was... wait for it... *drumroll*

And I went to Bon Odori, for those of you who don't know what Bon Odori is, its a festival celebrating the Japanese Culture and Dance. (From what I know lar, maybe its wrong >.<)
Went there because a very good friend of mine wanted to go, and we teman-ed her :)

Its basically a festival where people dress up in kimonos, yukatas and any other japanese traditional outfits you can find.

There were people dancing with fans together with the main performance which has drums and dancers in beautiful kimonos.

But I took it off very soon afterwards. Don't ask me why xD

And my very very very old friend Yong Hui came to join us xD
She looks pretty in that yukata :D
Cause she just took off her braces at the time, she talked funny xD

To me, the celebration was so-so only, but the company was as awesome as usual if not more :D

After all that fun, its making me not want to go back to uni :(
I'm gonna miss all the people I've spent time with throughout the hols, you know who you are, we spent some really amazing times ;)

Speaking of which, this week was my first week of uni

Summore we're not going there to eat... We're by-passing the Farm and going to an abandoned road to WALK 6km to an abandoned site..

Anyways, its gonna be interesting, and we're suppose to create a building or rest stop somewhere along the deserted road and at the site itself.

My other classes seem easy and we have one class per day, but the work loads gonna be double if not triple our last sem's according to our seniors.
I guess we'll be needing those free time to study and build models >.<
